Am I stupid or what?

I’ve been a terrible day.. no, make that a terrible week. Sunday was all about the stupid rains which ruined the weekend. I don’t even remember what I did that day. Oh yes, spent 4-5 hours in the salon for a hair colour. Next time I plan to colour my hair, please warn me.

I applied for number portability from Airtel to Vodafone, had to follow up for 15 days and finally the Vodafone store guy told me ‘I don’t know how many days it will take and I don’t know who can help you’. Which means ‘Fuck off’. So I did. I returned the sim yesterday only to discover Airtel had deactivated my number. I could either get a new number from Airtel or just pick up a sim for old number from Vodafone. I did the latter but Vodafone service in Delhi NCR sucks. Airtel is responsive. They responded on twitter and called back each time. Their store staff is helpful and polite. And their executives can speak English. Vodafone is the opposite. Sigh. Vodafone is sooooo bad they make Airtel look good.

And that’s not even the worse part. I switched services because I stopped receiving sms from my banks and Airtel couldn’t resolve the issue. I figured out the problem… I had blocked the banks on my phone. Sigh. Yes, I do feel like the stupidest person on earth. And I am married which means I told KC… and he will remember this all his life and throw it in my face whenever he wants leverage.

I met an orthopaedic for my foot. He recommended physiotherapy sessions along with supplements for calcium, Vitamin D and Vitamin B12. I met a physiotherapist at the same hospital and he recommended packages for my ‘rehabilitation’ starting from Rs 15,000 going on to Rs 90,000. I decided to take a 2nd opinion and went to a physiotherapist at Fortis. His diagnosis is different from the orthopaedic. And now I don’t know who is right and who is wrong. Or are they both right. I wish I could just go home and visit a good doctor back home. But that’s not really possible because am banned from home.

Just keeping my fingers crossed and hoping I can run this Sunday.
